WHAT IS A RECONDITIONED SMARTPHONE?
A PRS reconditioned smartphone is a phone that has been pre-owned for a certain amount of time (short or long). After collecting the phone, we clean it and run it through a series of diagnostics and checks performed by a team of qualified technicians. All of the previous owner’s data is deleted. When you buy a PRS reconditioned phone, you also receive a warranty that provides you with free servicing of your device if you experience a malfunction that is not due to the normal use and wear of your phone.
Why buy a reconditioned device?
It saves you money and allows you to buy a phone at a more affordable price, up to 20% or 50% less than the equivalent phone new. We’ve created a grading system that allows you to purchase a device that is more or less used based on your budget.
It’s also very environmentally-friendly as it prevents older devices from being thrown out and thus creating waste that is harmful to our planet. One should bear in mind that smartphones are made up of 63% plastic materials and metals of all sorts including zinc, copper, nickel, iron, etc., elements that are all harmful to the environment, and which cannot be separated naturally and are therefore difficult to recycle.
In summary, buying a PRS reconditioned phone means participating in sustainable development, and joining in the made in France recycling culture.
